In keeping with my habit of doing everything the hard way and hauling large amounts of baggage to far places, I took my 18 month old son to NYC last month. We had a great time; saw 12 different friends from Santa Cruz, attended an amazing wedding, went to a bunch of kid parks and ate a cupcake a day on the average. We managed to sneak in a little art viewing too, most notably a Takashi Murakami mural and drawings by Christo, as well as the new show at the incredible gallery Ricco Maresca, which was showing drawings by Toc Fetch and figurines by Trisha Cline.
